Joan DURU Wins the Soöruz Lacanau Pro 2009 !
A Huge fight between Joan Duru and Travis Logie, a pressure till the end. AND it is Joan Duru, the young Basque which wins the 30th edition of the French Pro!!!
With two beautiful waves in 7.47 and 9, he takes 2 500 supplementary points and wins a total score on the circuit WQS of 12 050 points, a giant step towards the doors of Dream Tour, Top ASP 45, THE WCT!!!

5pm, the speaker announces a heat between Joan Duru and Miky Picon… Suspence on the VIP, when in 30 seconds before the end, Joan Duru score a wave to 7.55 and takes back the head of the heat. We will find him in the next round… a step towards the WCT?!

Expecting good swell, we have it !
Blow of speed on the site and we like that. The return of the conditions attract people and the riders enjoy the swell. In brief, on Saturday and Sunday, Lacanau is the place to be: a high-level surfing, sun, and many people on the beach!
Coup de speed sur le site et on aime ça. Le retour des conditions attirent du monde et le riders se font plaisir. Bref, samedi et dimanche, Lacanau est le lieu de prédilection : du surf de haut niveau, du soleil, et un monde de fou sur la plage !

Frenchies on the WQS
Today, Frenchies leads on the WQS, Charly Martin, Patrick Bevern, Miky Picon and there are some minutes, Adrien Valéro. Soöruz Rider, he has been led on the heat 24 by going out 2nd with 12.34. Excitement here and on the LIVE to support this young rider, native of Lacanau. A gallery, just for him !!
Aujourd’hui, les français restent dans la course, Charly Martin, Patrick Bevern, Miky Picon et il y a quelques minutes, Adrien Valéro. Rider Soöruz, il vient de s’imposer sur le heat 24 en sortant 2nd avec 12.34. Effervescence chez les locaux et sur le LIVE pour supporter ce jeune rider, originaire de Lacanau. At 2pm, judges announced that the contest is over… but we found Adrien Valéro, Soöruz Surf Team Manager, on the beach. WQS Training and gallery !
Des 14h, les juges annoncent l’arrêt de la compétition pour le reste de la journée… et nous croisons Adrien Valéro, Team manager Soöruz, surf sous le bras. Un entrainement en vue de son heat et sa galerie !
